Ingredients

Portion size: 136g (Aprox ¾ cup)
  • 2 cups of Frijoles Volteados Rojos Ducal®
  • 3 spoons of olive oil
  • 3 flakes of garlic cloves
  • 1 spoon of garlic powder
  • ½ spoon of chopped parsley
  • 10 cherry tomatoes cut by half
  • 1 lemon
  • Ground pepper as desired
  • Chili flakes as desired

Preparation

  1. In a frying pan, fry the flakes of garlic cloves with the olive oil and when they are well browned, remove from the heat and set aside.
  2. In a deep bowl, mix the beans with the garlic powder and pepper as desired, place the cherry tomatoes, the fried garlic flakes, the chopped parsley, the chili flakes and squeeze the lemon on top.
  3. Lastly, add a little olive oil.
  4. Serve with pita bread chips.
